NBC News Radio Affiliate KCAA 1050 AM Turns Up the Heat For 2007 With the Addition of Hot New Talk Show Host Wendell James



New radio talk show host for KCAA scheduled to hit the airwaves January 20, 2007. From the red carpet to behind the scenes of some of Hollywood's hottest parties and events, all the way to your community, Wendell James was there and wants to talk about it.

Executive Producer, Hollywood Personality and Talk Radio Show Host Wendell James has just been added to the KCAA family of radio broadcasters. Wendell James will debut his highly anticipated "No non-sense, let's talk about it" talk show titled "Talking with Wendell" Saturday January 20, 2007. The one hour show will broadcast live every Saturday 2:00 p. m. - 3:00 p. m. on KCAA 1050 AM covering Riverside/San Bernardino Counties. ABOUT THE "TALKING WITH WENDELL"



In March of 2006 James decided to put his magnetic personality in action as he independently created, executive produced and hosted his own celebrity watch and talk show, titled "Talking with Wendell". Straight from the red carpet to behind the scenes of some of Hollywood's hottest sets and events, the Talking with Wendell was there. James interviewed such celebrities as Dan Rather, Gayle King, Eric LaSalle, Forest Whitaker, Tracie Ellis-Ross, Teena Marie, The Black eyed Peas, Loretta Devine, Alfre Woodard, Macy Gray, Niecy Nash and the controversial reality show Diva "Omarosa".



The show is a what's up in Hollywood information medium keeping you informed. From the old to the new, the youngest to the oldest to who's hot and who's not, to what's coming up and what just went by! Show segments covered red carpets, behind the scenes, on the set looks, celebrity home improvement, to what's in the news.



James was presented an opportunity to take his hot show topics and opinions to the airwaves via KCAA. Both controversial and entertaining with a live in look, celebrity interviews, chat rooms, faxes and call ins. Wendell wants to hear your opinion and of course he's got one of his own.



ABOUT WENDELL JAMES



Raised in a small town in Ohio, Wendell James could hardly wait to finish school and pack it all up to head for the big city "Los Angeles". Ohio was no place for this stylish and over the top kind of guy! Like many successful Hollywood personalities, James worked several jobs from fast food to healthcare while exploring opportunities in acting and modeling.



In September of 2004 he launched Wendell's Designs, a casual clothing line. Getting his feet wet, James went on to do a few featured extra roles as well as a pilot reality show entitled "Home James". Strangely enough or maybe not so strange, whenever Wendell is would visit a movie/TV set, producers would find him so interesting that they immediately want to him on camera.



From a Hollywood movie set to a simple trip to the local grocers, Wendell's charisma and "Bling, Bling" style always warrants a double take. Everyone wanted to know Wendell James! Amazingly, this curiosity would get him invited to some of the most elite parties and events in town. After attending several "A" list events, James discovered that Hollywood was quite friendly towards him. Celebrities on all levels would take up conversation with him, not to mention his eccentric style and fashion flare was a definite draw for media. Photos of James have been published by world renowned photographers, wire services and media outlets abroad. You can be sure that when Wendell shows up to an event, the camera's start flashing.



In 2006 James became Executive Producer of "Whacked Out Wednesdays" comedy club hosted by comedian's Kym Whitley & Buddy Lewis. James brings an array of talent and fresh new ideas to the show. With James help Whacked Out Wednesdays is quickly becoming the number one place for production companies and industry professionals to visit in hopes of finding the next new talent. Comics from Comic View, Def Comedy Jam and Comedy Central are no doubt in the house every Wednesday.
